childhood loves

In no particular order (I use childhood loosely, as this list spans from Pre-K to middle school):

1. card games with my grandmother
2. knitting
3. Fun Pad with my sister
4. seeds-apple, orange, grape
5. Ovaltine with condensed milk
6. Woody Woodpecker
7. The Smurfs
8. Three's Company
9. Lite Brite
10. balloons
11. bingo
12. crafts with tissue paper
13. Valentine's Day
14. stickers
15. origami
16. marbles
17. the beach
18. legos
19. this game
20. walks after dinner with my dad
21. board games with my family on Friday night
22. the Christmas Star my dad put in our room during the holidays
23. the library
24. badminton

As an adult, I don't recall that I played that much as a child with other children my age, which may be entirely false, as I know I was social as a child. I had dolls and a Candie doll (Barbie substitute) but I lived with my grandparents for several years by myself. And it's likely this was the formative experience that makes me the craft-obsessed person that I am now. Between my grandmother and grandfather, I experienced a lot of art and handiwork.
