It feels like spring around here, but just last week I couldn't wait to take out my winter wool coat. Actually on Friday I left with it, but immediately turned around and changed.
Tonight was Day 5 of wheelthrowing--it was an alright class. I'm still having a hard time pulling up the sides of the cylinder. And, I am incredibly messy-water and clay everywhere! I'm not sure how other students stay clean, but I definitely can not do it. To top it off, a piece I threw last week cracked when I was trimming it. Bummer. The problem is I need to practice in between classes, because by the time the next class comes around, I've forgotten what lessons I learned from the last class.
Overall, the crafting and exercising has been lacking. But October is almost over, and the hard part of the month has come and gone and I'm still smiling--most days at least. I hope to get some cleaning done tomorrow, and I realize today I haven't read my second book for the month!
