So after about a month of obsessing over, searching for, and looking for a replacement for my lost black BR ring, I found it last night! Somehow it ended up with my yarn. Maybe it was a sign that I really should do some knitting or donate the yarn, or make some winter items and donate those. I immediately went upstairs last night and put the ring safely in my jewelry box, which needs to be cleaned out and organized (pretty much like everything else in my life). One of my friends displays her jewelry in tea cups on her dresser table, and I think I might do that, especially since I'm making bowls in wheel throwing that aren't deep enough for any other use (phew, that was a long sentence).

I took my second weaving class this afternoon. And the verdict is that I wove too tightly--darn, such a bummer. I'm weaving a new scarf now; a green cotton scarf. I really am thinking about getting a loom because I am already very comfortable getting the loom set up. The one issue I have is trying to figure out what to do about the yarn, since the yarns I have really aren't suitable for weaving. But I'm not going to rush to buy it, since the loom and supplies is close to $300.

I think next weekend I'm going to take out my Quad Camera/Action Sampler and take some pictures. I've had it for too many years to count and have never ever taken a picture with it. I think I should also go and find a battery for my Polaroid camera that I won on eBay. Polaroid stopped its production of the instant film, so I also have about 2 packs of the instant film and a camera. But I'm just tempted to take another Polaroid Transfers class at PaperSource. So much fun! My problem is I want to try everything, and even though I think I am fairly responsible with my purchases, I think I can let certain crafts fall to the wayside. Right now that certain craft is definitely my knitting.

In other news, this vase from Anthropologie is awesome. I loved Chemistry when I was younger, before it got insanely impossible. And I definitely find beakers, Erlenmeyer flasks and test tubes well suited for personal home decorating.
