During the past two days in scorching 95 degree weather, I've come to realize that I can't move back to Boston next July. The heat is unbearable, and makes me terribly cranky. Staying in Baltimore after the program ends doesn't seem that likely either (although I will definitely apply for jobs at JHH). But still the possibilities are endless and I'm thinking more about moving abroad, if only for two years. The only problem is that I only know English, so I would be limited to countries where the official language is English.

I can't believe my 3 week break is half over. What have I done since on vacation? Let's see.
1. watched innumerable episodes of Law and Order and Spongebob Squarepants
2. baked Lemon Cake and S'mores bars
3. cooked dinner one night (chicken, rice and pickles)
4. washed some dresses (about 6 months too late)
5. met up with some friends for lunch and dinner (Oishii, Giacomo's, Beni, Ma Soba)
6. searched tirelessly for my Tetris game for the Gameboy to no success
7. watched Ponyo
8. went raspberry and blueberry picking
9. made blueberry buttermilk pancakes
10. played Scramble, Chinese Checkers and Cribbage and a homemade version of Boggle
11. celebrated my dad's 60th birthday
12. contemplated buying tickets to come back during Thanksgiving break, but then decided against it
13. felt guilty for not being more productive during my break
