I have been eating like a pregnant woman lately. But I think the likely culprit is that I'm working out more, but eating the same amount (fingers crossed). Dinner tonight: Butternut squash soup with bread, followed by some delicious sweet potato fries. After dinner snack (no the fries were part of dinner) is a smoothie--Just trying to figure out if I want to make a peanut butter smoothie or not (read: do I want to clean the peanut butter out of the blender)

Tomorrow we learn about the Transition program from June-July. I'm excited--it feels like they were going to keep us in the dark forever. Tomorrow, I'm also going to observe the NCCU for a couple of hours! Oh, and last week, I got to observe the GOR for 8 hours--it was really interesting, and has piqued my interest in being an OR nurse. However, I think I'm still going to try to get my Transitions in ICU. This week is our 4 week into the semester, which means we're going to pick our Peds clinical soon. Time flies when you're having (some) fun.

Over the weekend, I was craving either Clinton Street Baking Co. pancakes or an apple pie. So far, I think those cravings have been satiated by the sweet potato fries, but it would be nice to make an apple pie, I think. Restaurant cravings for Boston include Brown Sugar Cafe and New Ginza. I haven't decided if I'm going home for Chinese New Year. I got the time off of clinical and I should go but I'm also trying to save money. Just in case I don't go home, I bought some longans from H mart over the weekend. I remember my mom forgot them last year, and it wasn't the same...
