Yesterday while listening to some music on the way to school, "Bottle it Up" came on. It doesn't remind me as much of the Paradise concert where I fainted and ended up in the ED (but I still think about that) as it does of May 2008, walking back from Porter Square. I had just left Michael and was walking to Harvard Square to catch the 1 bus back to the Prudential area. I remember crying on the phone with Amy and feeling so confused. I can't believe it's almost 2 years since that time in my life. And for the first time in a long time, I feel calm, untethered.

I found this song on Youtube while listening to "Bottle it Up": "Winter Song" by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson.

Another great song, Bitter Heart by Zee Avi!  Thanks for the recommendation, Lisa.

This is true:

I am always the last to know about great music, but Imogen Heap "Goodnight and Go," is a great song.

AND

my college roommate is pregnant! I'm so excited!! All the fun things I can knit and sew. I can't wait!

This song is strangely very addicting and the video is even more mesmerizing because of her dance moves. Unfortunately, and very random indeed, the video features dinosaurs, which I know some are aware I have an unhealthy fear of. Anyway, her movements remind me of Napoleon Dynamite in the movie in what seemed like 10 minutes of his "dancing" during the performance piece of Pedro's speech for class president.

P.S. I'm seeing Yelle next Wednesday at the Roxy. Sweet...
