I have a friend that instead of admitting that we were lost, will instead say "want to go on an adventure?" We use to go on a lot of adventures together, some where we really didn't know where we were heading, and other times to great destinations. And I loved those adventures we had together.

éléphant

I've been checking out MadebyHank's Etsy storepage for the past month, hoping she would replenish her store with one of these. Unfortunately no such luck. But this is quite cute, and pachyderms have a special place in my heart. (If you go to a college where the school mascot is an elephant, it just sort of happens)

I need a hug in this rainy weather.

Things I rather be doing today:
a. puzzle (also a childhood favorite)
b. weaving (!)
c. knitting
d. sitting in a cafe, people watching
e. watching episodes of Spongebob SquarePants, SouthPark and Law and Order (the original series)
f. apartment hunting in Baltimore
g. taking a nap
h. sewing

By the way, this print cracks me up.

During tonight's wheel throwing class, I made a huge improvement over last week. HUGE. For one, the outer side of my left hand isn't raw from rubbing up against the wheel. Secondly, I can actually center my clay. The problem is figuring out how to make it into something, anything after that. I'm excited for next week to see if I can do something that I can actually keep.

In the mean time, I'm getting inspiration from these pieces:

Fall in New England is beautiful but it is especially wonderful because it is the perfect season to wear scarves and tights. This print is so sweet, and I love the title "I Like Your Scarf."
